do the opposite, big weight, low reps, basic movements, bb curls, close grip benches, heavy lying extensions, heavy db curls.

i was just about to recommend supersets. Dude they give me the best burn ever. High volume/moderate weight. No "heavy" stupid 6-8 rep bullshit. Why not pick 2 or 3 of your fav bi/tri exercises and superset?

Ex- db curl- 10-15 reps with very little rest followed by tri movement? 3 sets each maybe? as long as the end result is the same (good pump) ur muscles will respond man. There is no secret exercise that will tell ur arms "hey, grow more".

i dont get that "heavy weight" curl shit. I never get ANY significant pump/burn doing that. Say ur heaviest db curl is 75lbs for 6 reps... then u try a 45lb for 15 and tell me u dont FEEL it 100x more.

The "pump" doesn't mean your muscle are growing more. He says he's been doing supersets, time to change it up, go heavier with less reps, or try giant sets, 6-8 exercises back to back, 10 reps each.

What is your rational behind "changing" it up? Because u read that in Flex/bb.com and its "the thing" to do? So if the pump doesnt mean u are growing more, what does feeling nothing at all from heavy curls mean?

Change it up because maybe he's bored with the routine and not putting much effort into it. ;)

Do you do the same exercises/reps every workout, every week, every month, every year ???

I missed it, where does he say he doesn't feel anything at all from going heavy? I like to go heavy for a couple of weeks, go light for a couple of weeks, use supersets a few weeks, giant sets a few weeks......light, heavy, medium, it's all good.

Indeed, natural is the sun coming out on a rainy day.
Natural is the ice cold gatorade after running sprints for 20 minutes.
Natural is the "yes, i will" when u ask your girlfriend you love to marry you.
Natural is the atom bomb when all else fails.

75 lb DB I wouldn't consider heavy.  If you are going to get big you have to lift heavy.  Very simple.

Didn't you just post something about how you are happy because you have big arms and are satisfied with them last week?

If you were a trainer, you would have known it's time to change your routine if you are not getting sore anymore. ;)
