Title: Atlantic City - Bob Chic: Speak on this
Post by: flexingtonsteele on September 15, 2008, 10:56:27 AM
For those inquiring, or interested...the corrected scoresheets have been re-posted at:  www.ifbbpro.com

Craig Richardson is 8th

Hide Yamagishi  9th

Tarek El Sotoui and JoJo Nitifero tied in 10th

Bob tell me this,

How was Craig Richardson in the 1st callout but placed 8th?

Johnny Jackson wasnt even in the first callout but somehow got second place.

And Kamali in the first callout but got 6th??

Also the first 3 competitors were muscletech athletes 2 of whom needed to place top 3 to qualify for the olympia???

Coincidence or what?

Why do you ask Chick? He's just the Pro Representative (what ever that means)

The first callout is usually a projection of who they THINK may be in the mix....obviously, when they get out there side by side....things become a little clearer...why JOJ wasn't in that 1st callout is a mystery to me as well. When he was called out, it was obvious he would be 1st or 2nd.

King was in the first callout, but as competitors were dropped and added, the judges felt others were better...

Melvin is a MT athlete and was already qualified

Toney is not a MT athlete, and has already been qualified

Johnnie is a MT athlete and was previously qualified

Darrem is a MT athlete and needed to qualify

Joel Stubbs is a MT athlete and didn't qualify

What "coincidence" would you be referring to?

King should of got 5th but since Stubbs is a MT athlete, he was placed ahead of him.

Stubbs was also a MT athlete in NY and Europa...and placed 14th in both.

I hear that cameraman who zoomed in on king's rear posing trunks had him coming first.

Masters' shows aren't "real" shows.

All of you guys are ranting about this MuscleTech conspiracy theory, however when King (while still sponsored my MuscleTech) placed 4th ahead of Dennis Wolf nonetheless (among others) at the Montreal (Canada) show in '06, nobody seemed to mind too much about MuscleTech and their influence then.

Actually, "Wolf got robbed" was posted on getbig about 15,000 times that week.

I'm pretty sure we make 1000 threads about bullshit placings every time King is allowed to step on stage.

No one places anywhere because of a supp endorsement....lamest argument I see. There are numerous cases of decisions going the other way.

Too many conspiracies, too much spare time...

Exactly, your proving your own point.  The whole point of this thread was to show how Muscletech owns the IFBB and how their athletes are always in the top five, and Bob dont feed us this bullshit that they have no influence and we have too much time and blah blah blah, its pretty fucking obvious...

Actually the whole point of this thread was to show the Master's Pro was fixed, and Rusty got screwed.
No offence and I like Rusty but he was smooth as baby's behind

I thought that was established as fact in 2006.

Only conspiracy theorists still believe the other story.

You know why their athletes are always in the top 5? Because MT has the most amount of top guys under contract. In any given show...MT athletes number the most...

And what exactly does having all those expensive "pros" under contract buy them?  Anyone with an internet connection knows their stuff is overpriced crap.

Apparently it buys them success, as they are in our top 2 companies with BSN.....

Chick, advise King to hang it up and get a real job, you know he'll never get this gift of 6th place again.

I guess that just proves there are a lot of 16-year-old morons in the world.

How's that?

99% of kids just want to get bigger, put on some shoulders/ arms....

God bless them all....!!

Exactly...  they're not really "competition" per se, but rather a retirement gift for loyal IFBB lackies.

"lackeys", you mean.  the bloody word is lackey

Muscletech makes a good product.  It is not surprising they do well.

Thanks for you input, Jay Cutler.
