i think it helps if u are in a hardocre enviorment for bodybuilding
sometimes if u train more in a planet fitness place it can kinda bring u down

but no matter where i train i try to have a good workout-my ipod helps

health club.  it's nice.  the benches are usually empty, squat rack always free.  plenty of lat pulldowns, etc.  The dumbbell racks are busy at 4 pm when school lets out and the dumbbell curlers show up.  And the cardio machines are always packed.

i train in a hardcore gym...its pretty ill, it's in a back alleyway which has no lights at night, and you can go whenever you want, the owner whose a cool ass dude is only there for a few hours a day, you just swipe your card and turn the lights on if no one is there, shut them off if you're the last guy, plus nice bathrooms etc. i love it

Quite a few New York Sports clubs were former hardcore gyms that Town Sports bought so they are pretty well equipped.  Two in Manhattan were former Golds's gyms. Lots of hammer strength, heavy dumbell and leg equipment.    :)

I have a membership to a local powerhouse that I pay for,  I go there the most.  I won a membership to lifetime fitness at work about a month ago and I maybe train there once a week with a friend.  I tend to prefer the no bullshit enviornment but watching tits bounce while I train can be nice now and again.

i know, it's not bad at all. the county has several other branches, about 9 more. and membership is $100/yr for county resident. eventhough I have a Gold's gym membership, but the environment at those community center Gyms are so hardcore sometime, you either show up to workout or stay home....lol.
