That depends on the temperature your fridge is set at.

spaghetti is so cheap and fast to make why save it

the meatballs should be good for like 5 days. You can always freeze them.

Whole wheat pasta tastes like shit. I found some stuff and I think it's only 50% whole wheat and it tastes better than anything else... can't remember what the brand is though. My momma made some deadly lasagna with it a few days ago. Did an extra half hour of cardio before I went to her place so I could pig out and feel less guilt.

Whole grain pastas and those without enriched flours will be the best for you.
Pasta is not that bad in terms of a starchy carb, but the problem you will run into is that the quantity you eat to get a decent dose of carbs is WAY smaller than most people eat when they eat pasta.  It only takes like 1/2 cup or 1 cup max for plenty of carbs, but a pasta dinner for most people is usually more like 3 cups.  It's very difficult to limit yourself to the amount of pasta that is adequate for a serving of complex carbs on the order of 25-50 g.  :-\

Yeah, it's calorie dense as shit. And seeing as how cheap it is, how tasty it is and easy to prepare it's no wonder why it's such a pitfall for some people. I know that when there's pasta in front of me, there's no way in hell I'm holding back. That shit is delicious, especially the home made variety.
