You know, I have said some shit that was intended to stir the pot a bit.
Perhaps some of it was a bit satirical to get a reaction.
Other times, it was how I really felt.
During my brief time here, I have been pleasantly surprised at how tolerant and mature 99.99% of the responses have been even when I didn't deserve it.
Just wanted to say thanks to all of you, I like it here.
Never take my snide comments too seriously, I do sometimes capitalize on the fact we are thousands of miles apart :) .

No and No. I am 100% sober! Just figured that sometimes when I go back and read my posts, I cringe a bit at how sharp my tongue is.
But that is me, I am nicer in real person though. I use this forum to vent out some political frustrations, NOTHING MORE, NOTHING PERSONAL!

Once the election is over, these divisions will soften a bit. We'll start talking about the good/bad points of President mccain or obama.

I will say if Obama becomes President that he will have my support and best wishes. He will be MY president and although I will disagree vehemently on many issues, he would still be MY President.
The constant bashing of our president has become common place and only serves to divide us more. Hell you can make fun of him, talk about how silly he is, but when it turns so vile, it becomes Un-American imo.

Yeah, I'll bash his policy and lack of strength in the face of turmoil. I'll point out his lies. But attacking him, no. That hottie Erin something from CNBC... she called him a 'monkey' once on Morning Joe. It wasn't cool.
