There is this myth that the Republican Party is in bed with business corporations. Even when the Republicans held majority in Congress, corporate contributions were pretty even between the parties. That, however, has changed in the last few years. More and more, corporate America is looking to the left when making campaign contributions.
Can the Democrats now be considered to be in corporate America's pockets?

Barack Obama raked in $75,899

Awesome observation. The employees from these firms know the economy and banking very well.
If they're donating their hard-earned money to Obama, even in these times when they're being laid off, they must seriously believe in what he's saying.

To the contrary, Barak has proven he can't be trusted and is in bed with special interest more than McCain. Barak is SUPPOSED to be running on "Change".
It is obvious to most he is "more of the same" when it comes to politicians.

Actually, Barclay's bought just Lehman's IBD division for $2 billion, so there's a good chance the majority of those guys will keep their jobs as BarCap isn't too established in IB.

Why do the vast majority of employees of these banks choose to send money to barrack?
Obama says he'll bring change.
The bank employees give to him.
Sounds like they want change.
