Title: Dave - Serious question
Post by: chocolate fizz on September 19, 2008, 09:19:26 AM
All jokes aside, you seem to have a good knowledge about the game.

So why not just cut your food down a bit?

What gives?

LOL, its BSB inspired, he loves the dusky maidens.

Seriously, you should cut down to 200lb, it would only take about three months with drugs and you'd shut all the wankers up.

Give Palumbos diet a whirl.

yeah but whats the difference, looking skinny or looking fat in clothes. id prefer the first since it allows you more pussy on the face.

why on earth would i want to do that? i'm only 240 pounds, getbig is the only place where i'm considered "fat", besides why would ANYONE eat a zero carb diet if they're not competing?

On the money as always, Mars.

Lets also not overlook the fact that Brad Pit in Fight Club [probably] only weighed 150lbs, as did Stallone in Rambo; 200lb at 10% is fucking crazy shape, and if you are a big guy and want a bit more mass, just run a 6 weeker and ease on up to a lean 230lb.

All the bases are covered, Dave is short changing himself big time.

Dave, dont tell me you wouldnt want to have the 10% thing going on, the same applies to Alex too, at least you do the 240lb thing and just look big/fat, Alex has the whole OBVIOUS dbol bloat, not good.

My point is that you could OWN the tits here by making such a move, especially if gear was involved.

Aim for 220lb juiced and lean; dont tell me if faced with the option to wake up tomorrow and look like that rather than a tubby 240lb you wouldnt take it?

I would.

Oh and, Palumbos diet isnt absolutely zero carbs, you get a cheat day, but to be honest you dont have to go use Palumbos diet, use a variation, just stay at 50g of carbs for six days per week and have a cheat day once per week.

I think youre missing a trick.

Picture coming up BTW, give me two shakes to load it on a host.

50g of carbs per day would completely fuck over palumbo's diet if you're trying to lose fat and keep the brain in ketosis. The brain doesn't function properly with under 100g of carb per day, so why would Quaker do that seeing as he's not competing? His goal is probably to be bigger and stronger.

Spoken like a pissbag that has never tried to eat 100g or less of carbs per day.

Either way, ketosis isnt required, you fool.

I've done ketosis. It's a good diet. If I was to do carb cycling i'd go under 100g on some day, but not everyday like you're saying. Calm down nancy.

The point here is that he would look far better after losing a bit of baggage, thats all.

Never said the contrary; actually I don't even know. However we all know pictures in "door glasses" don't mean shit. ANYONE can look half decent in pictures such as these.

Again, I'm not saying anything against Dave, I'm sure he's a big guy, I'm just saying that you can't judge a physique without a clear picture.

I can atest...for past 6-8 years I've been a soft 220lbs(although better than most) ...been dieting since June 1 and am a lean 190 now..I look and feel so much better..strength is down a little but not much. I still train the same way..hard, heavy, strict!! I was always a little scared to take the dieting plunge. I feel fit now instead of a big, strong, soft guy. I see these "big" guys in the gym now and think of what I used to be, FAT! I feel as though I have rewarded myself by focusing on a STRICT diet. I'll never go back to the big, strong, fat guy! That's the easy way out..

Oh please Squad....you're a tub of lard at a Weight Watchers national convention.

And BTW-there is NO WAY in hell Squad could egt into shape in 3 months at 45% BF, maybe 12 months if he stuck to it, hit T3 milkshakes and dieted on DNP for 6 of those 12 months.

BINGO, great post.

This is exactly how I feel mate.

My strength hasnt dropped too much yet, but I am expecting it to once I start to hit 15% and under, thats why I might start juicing at that point.

Hi JV,

I would say Dave is 240lb with [at least] 25% BF, so that would put him at about 215lbs or so at 10%

Now, we also have to account for muscle catabolism during fat loss. Lets assume that for every three pounds of fat lost, Dave also loses one pound of muscle, this would leave him at roughly 195lb at 10%, which is about right for a guy of his height.

He could add juice after dieting or during, and either way would effect his muscle weight for the better, lets say he could come in at 225lb at 10%.

I dont care what he says, that would be infinitely better than his current look.

JV, what about you? have you ever thought about getting down to sub 15% mate?

I feel bad. I mean if this guy wants to juice that's fine, but atleast make some good gains first... imo he's lost a ton of bodyfat, props for that, but he should train as a natty for awhile longer. His excuse to juice is that when he's under 15% he'll lose strength... pathetic.

Oh brother. Here is a guy posing in his trailer and seeing Arnold in the mirror. When your bodyfat levels are in the mid 30's +, you're fat. When you have multiple chins, you're fat. When you flex and nothing happens, you're fat. It doesn't matter if it's in St.Louis, California, Canada, Cuba, Iran, Poland, Africa....you're fat.

   240? You haven't seen 240 since grade 10 buddy.

Hahah....man was that an owning.  ;D

QO has some cannonball delts, thick bro all around, he's obviously paid his dues in the gym.
Exactly, QO is pretty damn wide, and looks like he hoists some hefty weight.

I bet that these little hating bitches would be intimidated if they saw him in person. ::)

why would ANYONE eat a zero carb diet if they're not competing?
I agree 100%, enjoy your life, eat everything in moderation. Fuck being ultra ripped, what for?
