my experience says "the more combative, the less they understand". notice how cool schiff is during the interview ?

imo, plenty of bush supporters exhibit the same type behavior on GB.

The interview is about 10 minutes long. The panel is made up of 3 people. The interviewer spends at least 1 minute asking questions and interrupting people. Yet the one that gets the spotlight is the "cheerleader," the Fund guy. We're optimistic by nature, but when you get to a point that ALL you want to hear is good stories I'd say Schiff should've known better. The guy did not speak for 3 minutes.

Typical American interview.

American media is a bunch of shit.

I agree with you there. Peter's track record speaks for itself. Did any of these other clowns warn us of the meltdown? No. Why have him on if all you're going to do is rip on him? Peter was on a few days ago and he was treated much better but he's used to this stuff, he was literaly laughed at a few years ago on TV when he said the housing market was going to implode. We'll see who'll have the last laugh soon enough.

Here's Schiff laying the smackdown WITHOUT the head-in-the-sand pro-Bush interruptions:

His viewpoint mirrors that of much of the European banking/financial community... as a friend of mine remarked to me upon seeing the headline GLOBAL FINANCIAL MELTDOWN: "Seems China finally reckons they own enough of the US to foreclose them into the Third World".

What is really puzzling and insulting to the crowd that does their own thinking, in which I include myself, is how condescendingly and mockingly these people discuss the fact that there isn't a better choice than the one they present, which is it's best if the American taxpayer bails out all these PRIVATE entities. Not because the American taxpayer has approved such a decision, but because they say so. I wander where they're gonna hide when the companies start making record profits for their 40,000 shareholders while the remaining 100 million American souls are still paying for the bill every month.

I mean, if a company is leveraged 30 to 1 like these people are saying it's the average then they should not be in business. That is rampant capitalism at its worst. And then we wander why all these companies fail?
