I take two gainers (each consisting of 25 gr protein and ~35 gr carbs (50-50 of dextrose and maltodextrin); one right after I have put down the last weight and one 30 minutes after that, because I believe that the body can digest more of the protein this way than if I would take the whole thing right after the work out (since the body can't absorb too much protein in one take and because I want to prolong the protein synthesis).
My questions are then: do I gain something by doing it this way? Am I risking getting diabetes in the long run?
Thanks for all your help!

wow, you're gonna get huge this way. :o

No need to split it up.
Your misinformed about the body's ability to absorb protein. You will absorb all of the protein you ingest.
The issue isnt absorbtion, its about how much can be utlized for protein synthesis in one sitting.
And post workout your body can synthesize the entirety of 40-60g of protein all at once.
No..you wont get diabetes.

why not. might be easier than drinking it all at once, especially if you mix with milk
