Title: Orleans Arena considers the Olympia insignificant
Post by: Benito Mutumbo on September 21, 2008, 11:16:43 AM
Taken from its website.  Nothing about the Olympia.

It's pretty bad when a low rent place like The Orleans considers you not even worth mentioning..

Quote
Since opening our doors in 2003, the Orleans Arena has proven to be Las Vegas' favorite arena. The Orleans Arena hosts a variety of sporting events such as Monster Trucks, MiniMoto Supercross, EnduroCross, Las Vegas Wranglers Hockey, championship Boxing events and the Las Vegas Gladiators arena football team. The arena is also the annual host to a variety of family entertainment including Disney on Ice, Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Circus, Disney Live & Doodlebops and the Harlem Globetrotters.

They do the same events at the Wachovia Center in Philly where the Flyers and Sixers play. Does that make it low rent? Just curious since I think your thread will fail

I'm not behind the Eagles for this game. The Steelers lack of respect they are getting league wide makes me upset. That's AFC though so I don't lose sleep over it.

Monster truck culture is huge.

Never seen an arena football game myself, but a lot of people seem to like it.

i jsut went on their site and nothing has changed it is still up.  I found out their are no floor seats left.  And the highest price ticket left for the finals is $133 and lower.  So it looks ike a good turnout

I thikn the Arena has about 80-90 events a year there.  So ommiting about 95% of them fo a simple blurb doesnt mean much.

When the Olympia competition is in town, a lot of people know about it in Vegas, and that is significant.
