Of Romney taking Palin's slot on the ticket. "She's totally awesome, but the lib lie machines have just brought so much heat on her. She doesn't deserve this." Stuff like that.
Probably just a rumor, but it's interesting conversation. With the financial near-meltdown, would Perfect-haircut Mitt, Smiling and talking completely in his element about the "Romney Restoration Plan" for the ecomomy win a lot of votes right now?
McCain was getting hammered tonight on CBS about palin's lack of experience, and he wasn't even really fighting it. Just reading the company line.

Romney's cut from the same bolt of cloth as President Paulson... and would be an easy sell now. Also his family is golden. And his wife isn't illiterate.
