That physique would clean house on about 95% of all IFBB pro's.
Vince also knew how to pose. Vince knew his shit!
Reminded me of both Sergio and Arnold.

....

....
you kidding me , right?...
back then they held their poses much longer than today...that was the times..
other than that his posing was pretty shit IMO.
had no idea how to show off his sensational physique.
and picked poses that just didnt suit.
no flow, all off beat, no obvious transitions....
reminded me of dillett but without the shakes.
to compare to Arnold's presentation is ..well, mind blowing...
i note that he didnt win any contests...and all were in the nabba... so how come everyone thinks he'd fare well in the ifbb 20 years later?

That was osme of the best, most classical posing I have ever seen-awesome posing.
I bet you like Kamali's "robot". ;D
-
oh yeah kk's robot.
i love that and all bb doing robot routines... ::)
checkout labrada's routines.
and even levrone...and haney.. etc
-
thick fella.
-
Vince brown had a TREMENDOUS PHYSQUIE i recall seeing his pics in the late 80s from those times (86 etc..) not to sure why he didn,t push on to bigger and better things, he was very impressive.
-
any nabba, wabba, fella from that era was a freak.kawak, brown, vic terra early ninties, too many to mention, this guy brown looks like haney, melvin had a kid and took vince taylor with them.
-
What was this guy's height and weight?
-
Good to see you guys have finally discovered Vince after all these years.when i was 18 in 1981 i was thinking about entering my first comp in the junior class and i knew Vince was Junior Mr Nottingham,so i went along that year to see what this guy looked like, but he wasn`t in the show.At the night show the biggest monster i ever saw came and sat in front of me and was wearing one of those gold gym silk jackets and literally took up two seats. The mc then asked for Vince Brown to present the trophies and the monster in front of me got up and walked onstage.I thought if he`s a junior i might as well pack in training. One year later i did enter my first show and a guy backstage was Vinces training partner and told me Vince just placed 3rd in the mr Britain at age 19,not the junior class, but the misters. In 1983 at age 20 he placed 2nd to Buchanan and later that year won the Universe.A couple of years later he spent a bit of time at Her Majestys Pleasure and when he did make a comeback he tore his pec.The last time i saw him was about 5 years ago and he was taxi driving,he came to pick a fare up at the club i worked in,and still looked pretty big.Heres a couple of pics of him aged 18(3rd from right) and 19 in 1982 when he placed 3rd in the Mr Britain.Just look at his relaxed shape on the left hand side of the 3rd pic.

hahahha
i havent seen posing like this in a while ....
this guy can control everything he wants
his bad choice of posing is only bad because we're in 2008 and hes in the 80s
its like lookin at photographs of people in 80s clothes and thinkin they look bad..................
if this guy was competing in 2008 he would be doing a modern routine and would still have amazing muscle control and breathing ....
do u see him let his gut hand out because of bad breathing?
do u see him walk across the stage and look bad at any time.......
hes always looking good .....
he shows no weakness at anytime..... hes always posing....
if only paul dillet took his posing as seriously as this guy ::)
-
Vince was about 5"8 and about 215 in contest shape.
-
Heres a video of Vince posing in 1983 (age 20) in the Mr Britain.Anybody know what this music is called.Just look at his shape at the start and his V taper at the 56 sec mark.At the 2.15 mark you can see the similarity to Sergio in the most muscular.
Also heres Buchanan who won the title that year also aged 20.At the 15 sec mark you can see where he pinned his trunks in because his waist was 27 inches.
-
Sad that a physique like that would be judged lower than Jay Cutler's.
-
This guy Vine brown has one of the best physiques I have seen, and this is the first time I have eer seen him, in this thread. Reminds me of a cross between Sergio and Arnold, incredible upper body.
Cross striations all over the triceps at 1:24.
-
Keep in mind that later that year when he turned 21 he won the medium height class in the Universe, having placed 3rd the year before.

omg. i never said he didnt look good.
and ive been around long enough to know the differences between 80s and 00's posing..thanks for the tips though. ::)
even for 80s posing he wasnt that good.
and remember, labrada et al were 80s BB's too.
and arnold was 70s...
to say he was a good poser, IMO, is fantasy. There were plenty around at the time that were better.
I just dont see the hype about his so called "excellent posing"..
nope- dont see that at all. quite the opposite really.
