so far all ive heard all day from analysts is that technically speaking mccain (or obama) has 'no role to speak of' in the solving of this economic issue. it is not part of their job role. the experts have said there is no need for either candidate to 'come help' as there is nothing there for them to do. most have called this simply -what it is-a political stunt.
so, what exactly does he gonna do, go back there and give them moral support? ::)

Glad you let us know what YOU "believe" and are not certain of. McCain answered this "taken out of context" idea well on 60 minutes last Sunday. Look it up.
bush has systematically destroyed this country financially. our country is heading for a severe recession as a result of his failed policies. in the coming months, the stock market will come crashing down.
mark my words.

mabye he's going to remind them that the fundamentals of our economy are strong and then explain why banking and credit are not fundamentals.

LOL, you mean the credit extended your ISP Provider so they could facilitate a way for you to post on this forum? Thanks Ron Paul Revere, you have a mind like no other.
I actually have a pretty good understanding of the credit markets and I've been watching them seize up since ~ the third week of August 2007. At this point I'm not convinced that things are any worse than they were a few weeks ago. Fannie, Freddie are still buying loans and now that they are under the conservatorship of the government that will probably continue. Small local banks and credit unions are still making loans. No doubt there is a problem but the last thing we need it to hastily put together a "bail out" with no guarantee that it will even ameliorate the situation.

The only McCain will do is a whole lotta rhetoric.
