I don't know what i did or how but got up from the bench today from my warm up set
and fuck......my rib cage is hurting but only when I stretch it or put stress on it
anyone else have this happen.

does it hurt to breath?
If you hold your breath during a lift it could be (though very rare) that you can irritate a spinal-rib joint (costovertebral) in the back, nerves can send pain around the rib to the front.
Also, lots of weightlifters I see injure their serratus muscle during (usually) flat bench press because they don't use this muscle to stabilize their scapula during the lift.
get checked out by your chiropractor.

no doesn't hurt when i breathe...but does hurt when benching and doing crunches

and front or back, and at what level?

no it is better now I think I just pulled something...but wasn't hurting from coughing or sneezing
and it was more or less upper side of my body...thanks for trying to help out bud
