It's pretty stark isn't it?

That's something that has always blown me away. It's not just bush though... if you notice EVERY president that I've seen in my lifetime has gone through that incredibly dramatic accelerated aging process.

Do the women on getbig read this forum? I'd like to hear a woman's take on this... why is his wife letting him do this? John and Cindy should be lying on a beach somewhere eating bon bons--not angling to get into the pressure cooker of the White House that will quickly sap whatever time he has left.

i read that 8 yrs in the white house ages a person the equivalent of 20 yrs.

A divorce would cost her too much money and her kids might hate her.
At least this way, ...she potentially gets the caché of being First Lady along with the national support and reverence shown to presidential widows like Jackie O
