I think for the most part we are all in agreement on the fact that Jay should not win. Yet we seem to be all over the place on who should. It kind of makes me miss the days of a dominant champ.
For my two cents I say Heath.
Discuss.

I don't see any world class Mr Olympia on that stage. Jay looks shit but noone there to take his place. If Victor was in we would have had a new Mr O
-
Dexter Jackson for sure
-
I'm fine with anyone from the group of Dex, Phil, Dennis or Toney winning.

I genuinely think Freeman is the best on that stage.
-
I would say Dexter Jackson, if only he could grow taller.
There's nothing "olympian" about a 5'5'' guy.

Stack Dex and Heath together and what do you have.....FREEMAN!

That's what sucks about this year. There is no clear cut winner. All those years everyone was complaining when Ronnie was obviously the champ, wishing that there was no one person dominating the show, have gotten what they ask for.
I think we were all wrong, it does not make the show better. :-\

One thing you can't argue with:
Jay carries the most muscle.
He weighs the same as Wolfe despite the height disparity.
That's good enough reason to give it to Jay.

Yes, but bodybuilding puts greater precedence on muscle size than conditioning.
Both aspects of the physique, mass and conditioning, do not carry equal value.
It makes sense because it takes longer to build a lot of quality muscle than it does to take lasix and diet for weeks. Anyone can be "off" because they miscalculated the time it takes to get dry; however, you can't take away the years spent building superior muscle mass.
At the end of the day, it's a bodybuilding contest.
great muscle mass + average conditioning > average muscle mass with great conditioning.
For this reason, Jay deserves the title.

I think Jay's still gonna be tough to beat tonight...the other guys being talked about all have weak points. As much as I was hoping for Wolf to come in and bring the house down, he dropped the ball. No matter what anyone says, Wolf is not contending for the top spot tonight. Dex and Phil look like middleweights when being compared to Jay. I'm disappointed in Jay, all he had to do was dial it in one more time and he could've blown this field away.....

Exactly.
Jay's conditioning sucks, but he still looks like a man amongst boys in direct comparisons.
He's definitely not a great Mr.Olympia, but he's still the best on stage.

Wolf looks like a skinny spider-monkey compared to Jay's He-Man.

Jay should win!
Wolf isn't as good as last year and if he didn't win then he isn't going to now. better luck next year.
Heath looks great but is "narrow" and supposedly all arms, won't win in his first o either.
Dex is the same ole dex
Freeman has climbed in the placings but won't eat the whole cake

Yes, the fact that Jay is the best man on stage is a testament to how poor the competition has become.
How we long for the era of Levrone, Wheeler, Yates, et al.
