Title: Big Picture
Post by: littleguns on September 28, 2008, 04:49:03 AM
Regardless of who won/didnt win, we finally have an aesthetically pleasing physique holding the crown.

It is obvious the IFBB wants to go back to aesthetics...just look at the tope 5, aside from Jay, no true Monsters with bloated bellies and 40 inch waists!!

Kudos to the judges and IFBB!

Lets look at the rest of the lineup....was it because these so-called midgets were that much better than the bigger guys or the fact of the IFBB going back to pleasing and not hideously huge?

what "huge" guys are you reffering too?
Guys were not awarded because they were "asthetic", they were rewarded because they were the best on stage.

Like Dorian said, there is no such thing as a trend in the Olympia or Arnold. The best man wins the show period.

Usually the guy who won the previous year wins and he is not always the "best man".

I agree but could the tide be turning....Again back to pleasing physiques, not one body part truly overtaking the others etc etc

Will Heath be the hype for 09 like Wolf was for 08?
