Title: Will Phil heath skip the Arnold and focus on the Olympia?
Post by: 240 is Back on September 28, 2008, 03:29:04 PM
It seems to be what the world class guys do... if they have a shot at winning at the O, they skip the Arnold and focus on the Olympia.

Phil was good enough to win last night, and will push Dex and Wolf to the limit last year (I'm assuming with his thickened skin, Jay won't be a legit threat again).

Has he announced his plans yet?  He still can fill out a bit...

If the rest of him was half as good as his arms, he'd be Mr. O already.

Phil really can't get much bigger than he already is.  His frame is pretty much maxed out. He's going to be Mr. Olympia either next year or the year after, the "machine" has clearly already decided that.

He should go to the Arnold and pick up some cash.

Phil never has a granite hard look to his physique. He's always soft. For that reason alone I don't see him defeated Dexter, as long as Dex is competing.

I'm really interested to see how Phil Heath will improve upon that, but there is a very real chance in my mind that he will do it.  Very calculating is this guy.

240, Phil looked fucking amazing, I wasn't in the front row, but about where the judges were. He was sliced and diced, not as proportianate as Dex, but just as conditioned.

He should. It will be a smart move considering that Vic is doing the Arnold. As far as Phil has come in terms of improving his physique, there is no way he will match Vic's muscle maturity. Vic will beat him hands down and possibly that will be the most interesting Olympia ever once these two step out on stage in '09.

heath can not be mr o ,,he has very narrow structure ,pecs are akeward and chest is narrow it is very weird ,,the muscle maturity is far from being there,,its all blown muscle due to the use of drugs and local injects,,it is night and day between him and dex ,,dex muscles are his to keep even at 30lb less they are matured and developed well enough,,in phil case there is what gh15 calls the tom prince syndrom of blown muscle ,,his arms simply look bad because they make his physiqe look very bad! sometimes too much of a bulk can cause you look worse and its true in phil heath case,,his arms are not shaped amazinly just layer of thick thick muscle injected localy by lots of oil ,,,its the tom prince syndrom ,,,this fella should not be mr o and most likley wont ,,there is big diff between heath and dex ,,,big big diff

i think his muscles are very will developed however i do agree that he needs some time for muscle maturity - but i still think his shoulders, arms and chest are better than Dex also his legs and calves!
