I enjoyed both. However I want opinions on if one is favored more than the other.
I go with We Own the Night. I thought it was a little more gritty and I can't get past Leonardo DeCaprio convincing me he's an actual bad guy but good guy under cover.

the departed stomps WOTN(not saying its a bad movie i own both) the way they both are living double lives but they end up meeting is tight as shit

Studies show that the only people who prefer WOTN are those with mega jaws that could crack steel, homosexuals and trannys from Philly. Fortunately, you fit all three requirements.

Explain why it sucked. I thought the Departed seemed like a stroke job for a bunch of actors. WOTN wasn't as distracting in that respect.
