Jay's millionaire endorsement contract with MuscleTech depended upon him being Mr.Olympia. All the other MuscleTech bodybuilders earned considerably less than Jay because they weren't Mr.Olympia. Will MuscleTech drop him now that Leukic and Cell-tech have been proven ineffective at helping a Mr.Olympia keep his crown? After all, a Mr.Olympia being defeat4ed while using a company's products is not good advertisement for it. I think Jay will keep his contract but MuscleTech will renegotiate it and demand that Jay accept much less money as a defeated champion. However, if he regains the crown next year - which won't happen -, then he might get the old deal back. If Jay drops even further next year, then he will lose his contract.

im sure he is much more "in the know" with muscletech than the general public knows. Jay isnt losing ANYTHING. Its not like he is not the most important asset they have. You think all these years they are just gonna say "c ya Jay! been fun!"?

Dexter is a Muscletech athlete so it wasn't like he was defeated by someone else's products.

Good point, but this does nothing to save Jay Cutler the individual. Dexter's contract money will soar and Jay's will drop.

You also have to take into account all of the guest posings that Mr O gets, he's guaranteed $10,000 per guest posing. Jay won't have access to that income anymore so, yea he's going to be effected by not only the contract itself but the guest posing is also a huge chunk.

Jay's contract aint going anywhere, anytime soon.....you don't get "docked" pay for placing runner up in the Olympia. That said...I don't know the terms (or length) of Dexters contract...
They're both doing quite well...I wouldn't lose any sleep on whether or not they can afford their gym membership...
