John McCain is pulling out of Michigan, according to two Republicans, a stunning move a month away from Election Day that indicates the difficulty Republicans are having in finding blue states to put in play.

its a sign of defeat, and does not send a good message to his base that hes giving up.

Kerry won michigan by less than 1%, I believe?

With the detroit auto worker mess, he knows it's only going downhill there.  No sense wasting resources trying to keep that one close.  We can prob remove it from battleground status now.

Where are the resources headed?  Florida!  Palin is coming here next, and the local college kids are getting motivated for both sides.

should be pulling out of pa soon to, so many obama signs on lawns that were not there a month ago..

obama currently 50 to 41
