Doesn't matter how you look for your first show. The fact of the matter is he cut all the way down. This is the time he is going to make the best gains of his life. He looks exactly how a first time attempt is suppose to look. I was 146 for my first show and came back 24 pounds heavier the next year. Expect to see this guy be atleast 10 pounds heavier next year and in better conditioning. The change will be phenomenal.

Your opinion is moot. I know you are here for attention and you enjoy people flaming your pics so im not going to give you your piece. You obviously get pleasure from being abused. Flexington looks like a first time competitor is suppose to look. He came in with a fairly complete physique with a few gaps here and there just like i did for my first show. I think he could have personally been a bit leaner but he has small joints and alot of room to fill out. Very similar to how i looked for my first show. Flex, don't listen to these "experts" who tell you that you need to eat more. These are the very same people with bodies that are 20-30% bf. The fact of the matter is your physique is better than 99% of getbig. You made the first step and things will only get better. You are about to make some of the best gains of your life here in the next 6 months.

That's leafy.
Everyone else has no idea about anything.

LOL, this is funny seeing a thread about me and my contest pics.

I would be worried if people werent talking shit about me since this is getbig :)

Lets see now, where do i start??? This was my first show, im 25, I dieted my ass off and didnt take a damn thing, I only took fat burners for like 2 weeks, im as natural as it gets, and lost 40lbs in a short amount of time to get in that condition.

All things considered I think I did pretty well. Like Leafy said, this was my first show, I had never even posed before i started dieting for this, so this next year or two im going to put on some mass. So next time there are some contest pics of me on here, ill look like a differnet person. One with ALOT more muscle ;D . I have a shitload more room to grow on my frame, so its going to be fun. This is 2 weeks after the contest, and im already up about 15lbs in damn near the same condition.

Thanx for both the comments the rude ones ( because they make me laugh ) and the positive ones, because well its a breath of fresh air on this board  ;)

Got any pics of the guy you lost to?

For the front relaxed, you could always try a modified version ala Serge Nubret. You don't have the lats or arms to do it the "normal" way, so lower your arms, twist your torso a bit to show your arms side-on (they'll look bigger), and really emphasize your aesthetics. Could help over the bigger guys.

ok, he looks good. thats great and fine and all that.

BUT he's got no reason to be pushing his arms out like he's got no choice.

THAT'S what detracts from his achievement.

and frankly, makes him look like a real tosser.

i blame the person who took the photo- they shouldve said something like "dude, sticking your arms out like that makes you look like a right bonehead"..

problem solved.

HTH.

I don't think many people on here have ever dieted down to low BF and seen what they look like otherwise there would be no negative comments.

Hey "Flexsteele", props on your achievement! I started my diet bout the same time as you(June1)..I'm down about 35 lbs.. so, I know what you've been through and , again, props for getting lean. You're a vet on this board and know how it works...take a bashing from everyone who would'nt know how you feel right now. Notice the compliments are coming from folks who are serious about making progress. So, keep your goals high and good luck with everything. :)

Is this serious? I am not to be nasty but I see swimmers and joggers with far more muscularity. If it was not for the fact he is an established moderator then people would not be praising this. I know many untrained African-Americans who look a lot better. Most do actually.
As far as a constructive critique I would say work on your arms , back, legs, chest and shoulders. Spend 6 months a year only focusing on strength gains. Do nothing that is not focused towards increasing your strength when you begin hypertrophy training. I would also consider some AAS as you clearly are fighting bad genetics.  I not being nasty as I never mind this guy at all on the boards - he should not suffer for his alliegance to the fat stalker but this is not good and if this was a newbie then it would be torn apart.

I think you're being a bit nasty. "Flex" has said he wants/needs to continue to add muscularity. I, for one, am praising his dedication/motivation to reach the point he has reached. He's gone from point A to point B..and anyone who has done this knows that it is an accomplishment. Most don't have 1/10 of the motivation and commitment that it requires to make this kind of transformation..I think you would agree with this, correct?

No, he hasn't gone from point A to B. He is still at A and wants to get to B. Was he seriously ill? Again, I am NOT being nasty but I don't see a physique that should be in serious competition. If he is happy then for him its all good. However i think it silly for someone so small to be dieting and losing so much weight (MUCH OF IT MUSCLE) when what he need to do is bulk up solidly for a few years and build the muscle that will be under when the fat is stripped. So far, he strip the fat to show no muscle, just bones.
I know that everyone else sees this.

Only newbies and gym rats see it like this.
As long as you haven't been in a condition like that, you have absolutely no idea what you're talking about.
People who have, have made positive comments.

His condition is ok. It's not as amazing as you are claiming. There are millions of ectomorphs who look exactly like that who dont diet or train or do anything. Like I said, I see swimmers and joggers with bigger upper bodies and legs.
People are only saying this stuff because they like him. His physique boast absolutely no muscle. His arms look totally underdeveloped. Then he is doing dieting to lose 40 lbs he needs (probably a few pounds of that was the little muscle he actually had) Something here is terribly wrong and it is irresponsible for people like you to encourage him.

Hey Flex,
What did you weigh on stage?
What did you weigh before you started cutting
How small is your waist? looks TINY
How tall are you?

OK, I'll try again:

Have you ever been in a condition like that?
Show me a swimmer in that condition.

No crusade. I agree that there's not a lot of muscle on him, he surely knows that. I just ask people who obviously think they could do better, to provide evidence. And I noticed that people who actually have such experience are the ones that make positive comments.

You are the only exception to what I said. You seem to have been in similar or close to similar condition with more muscle and you still rip on him. But that's maybe because you share history, I don't know about. :D

What I do agree upon is that a physique like his could be obtained naturally. If resp. to what extend he has been using AS, I don't know.

a lot of people like to be in shape... I'm one of them. I don't like to let my bodyfat get too high.

but eventually you have to bite the bullet and eat for a couple years to add mass... if you're lean you're not eating enough.. and probably not growing much.

this guy needs to grow.

Flex already said he plans on growing now.  You're not telling us anything new. ::)

Sure,he needs to gain more mass, and he will as time progresses.

That being said,he trained, did cardio, and stuck to a tough diet, then competed and placed well.........he gets big props from me.

If you never did it,you really have no clue as to how tough it is.

Flex did look good in other shots, but I can see why he lost. Simply too small. Needs to add muscle everywhere.
How can you say that when you haven't even seen the other competitors?

You are about to make some of the best gains of your life here in the next 6 months.
common why not, I know I love out of shape obese people flamming my pics  ;D you have no idea how much it makes me laugh when these fat asses who get called fat everyday say some retarded shit  ;D
I'm just telling it like it is...... dude is skinny
yes MOST getbiggers are at 20% to 30% bodyfat but last time I checked I was around 5%

hahaha!!!  I'm with ya on that.  I've been "dieting" the past few months but..still no six pack in sight quite yet.  I'm not anywhere near "pumphard" territory though ;D

Considering that this is his first show.. He definitely deserves props for coming in w/ good conditioning.. At these local shows, a good majority of his competitors prolly looked like bloated shit..  Further, if  he's truthful about being NATURAL..more power to u--U can only get better..take your time---QUALITY OVER QUANTITY. ..You will eventually learn to condition better w/o having to deplete so much

Flexington, congrats on getting in shape.  What is your height, and what do you weigh in those pics?

I admit that while on ECA and dieting I got very lean quickly, probably as lean as you were in the pics.  I was about 155 pounds and while I was ripped, I looked like a bone rack.  I honestly didn't have the guts to take a pic - I had veins and abs, but I was just so skinny I looked sick.

At 25, I wish I knew some solution for being that skinny.  If you fig it out, pelase share it.  Again, props on getting in shape and doing a show!
