They had mccain up by 20 or so votes, right after his Palin peak.
Look where we are today. He could win every tossup state and it'd STILL be a blowout.
He needs some magical debate performances, or a major october surprise, for this thing to be clsoe.

McNasty will be in full effect for tonight's debate. It's desperation time, and he's needs a game changing moment.

Correct. He's been in hiding most of the weekend prepping for tonight. Watch his face - many docs are suspicious of the changes to the left side :(

Since the campaign has become more heated in the last couple of days with nasty, personal attacks launched by McCain and his running mate Sarah Palin, everyone expects tonight's debate to be a slug-fest. Here's what McCain predicted about tonight during an event last week:
With just four weeks left until Election Day, Sens. Barack Obama and John McCain are preparing to face off in Tuesday night's high-stakes presidential debate.
At a campaign event in Denver, Colorado, last week, a voter asked McCain when he was going to "let the gloves come off and go after" Obama.
McCain's response: "How about Tuesday night?"

Game over, gallup has obama 51 mcsame 42,,
palin did more harm then good last week according to the polls!
-
Perhaps we will see that infamous temper blow.
-
It's a wash if the polls hold up. All Sen. Obama has to do is duck and dodge anything in these last 28 days and he's our new president.
-
I see obama winning this election with a cushion.
