Title: McCain On Negative Attacks

   "Sooner or later people are going to figure out that if all you run is negative attack ads you don't have much of a vision for the future, or you're not ready to articulate it."

That was John McCain in 2000, commenting on the disgusting attacks against him by Karl Rove, George Bush, and a few of the people now doing their very dirty work for him.

I think u can balance both. The mistake McCain is making is that he appears to be making all the attacks directly. Obama has plenty of surrogates and the media carrying the load for him. McCain needs to allow the various well funded GOP groups do what they do best and slam Obama. There are plenty of facts and shortfalls on Obama's resume to fuel plenty of attack ads.
