If you're hankering for protein shakes (RTDs, in particular), now would be a good time to hit GNC.
This time, I've picked up a half-dozen IsoPure (zero carb) RTDs for $0.23 each. Actually, because it's still Gold Card week, that price dropped to $0.18.
And for about $1.20 I got a couple of those CNP Protein Slams (the one that come in the tubes, similar to those of IDS).
I'm waiting for one more markdown, before I snatch that jug of Anator P-70. I figure that, if I wait until the month it supposed to expire (assuming it isn't purchased beforehand), I can get it for $20 or less.

If they're products that are due to "expire" within the next 30 days or so, then you can get them for that low price. The bottles of IsoPure that I got had a date of 10-08. The tubes of Protein Slam are dated 11-08.

anytime i go grocery shopping i usually drop in the GNC next door and usually come across some really good deals on rtd's, bars, or energy drinks nearing expiration.. the only time i actually buy anything from there
