14k to 9k is a helluva drop. I noticed McCain said he'd keep the Bush economic plan in place.

The US flag is a symbol that represents this country and it's freedom. You'd rather desecrate the Constitution with an amendment that takes away a little freedom of speech. A flag burning amendment is anti-American.

pretty sure the constitution does say that all men are created equal. also..right to life liberty pursuit of happyness. also the right to freedom of speech.

the constitution says nothing about preferred economic systems.
pretty sure the constitution does say that all men are created equal. also..right to life liberty pursuit of happiness. also the right to freedom of speech.
actually the first two are in the Declaration of Independence. The third is in the First Amendment to the Constitution.

Agreed 100%. People can burn flags all they want; America was started with the idea that each person would be guarunteed a voice, the right to act, and the right to their own opinion. I get tired of people thinking that the US should only allow it's citizen's to wear smiles and give it compliments. That's not what the US was founded on.
Second, not wanting to amend the constitution so it bans flag burning is not the same as promoting flag burning.
