Title: Thinking about buying a new watch any suggestions?

down by the water .. i think its called battery prak.. i nought a gold rolex off some dude for 15 bucks... on the pplane ride home a week later the clock hands all fell off ... :-\

You can find an Avenger new for probably $2200 and a Super Avenger (larger) for 27-2800. Again, not really sure what you are looking for or what your price range is, but buying a watch on timezone or other watch board will save you potentially thousands over somewhere like Tourneau.

Yup, they are notorious for that. I have a GMT Masters II and it loses 5 minutes every couple of weeks.

It's been almost 2 years. I usually take it in once a year but I've been lazy lately.

Very nice! Leaning toward an Avenger. :)
