Big bench, but some of those plates could have been the 15 KG's, since they are the same size as the 20's.
Excellent form, and his chest in the start when he was posing was pretty thick.

he's a big dude but i'd never guess he benched 585 with that type of form, incredibly strong.
-
wow...and his chest has that nice squared off look...good for him.
perfect form too!

STrong as shit.
But I cant figure out why lift soooo heavy when your whole "carer" could be ruined with a muscle tear?

Very true, lifting that heavy will not build more muscle, and the chance from injury at that weight is very high.
-
maybe he likes to lift heavy not that you weak ass motherfuckrs would know how that feels
-
Stronger than Ronnie ::)
maybe on the bench press, maybe, because Ronnie was actually working out in his video not doing low rep warm ups and singles leading up to a max out with powerlifting elbow wraps.
Strong guy for sure but the thread title is not exeactly accurate.
-
bet u if he had come on here as a member and said.... i can bench 585 before posting the video
you would have typed something along the lines of
this beast thinks he is a strong as ronnie ha ha ha ah ha ha :-\
i have seen a guy do that in real life...
plus newsflash coleman isnt the strongest man in the world

How is that stronger then Ronnie?Ronnie knocks out 12 at 405 and 5 at 495 with no wraps on his elbows. The guy is super, super strong, but Id put Ronnie in his prime against him all day.
-
LOL
watch out Broad, we've got two of the biggest genetic freaks in the world posting in this thread, one eats 2 Jamaican meals a day and has 19 and a half inch arms totally natural and benches 160 pound db's for 10 and the other is 21, totally natural and benches 405 and inclines 315 for 5. ::)

Yeah I was just gonna say that. This guy has a badass benchpress though for sure... bodybuilders should train like this and not just with machines and light weights for a pump.

if you think this guy can't do that as well you're nuts, did you see how easily he benched 5 plates? it looked like he could have done at least 6 with it.

You dont think Ronnie could do a touch and go with 6 plates with knee wraps on his elbows?

I've just talked to Zoltan (the guy in the video) and he says that that was a 260 kg (575lbs) bench press 2 years ago at the body weight of 275lbs. Right now, he thinks he can do about 620 for 1 rep. (Current body weight: 300lbs) Yesterday he did 6 reps. with 440 on a 30 degree incline bench. 2 years ago, he won a bavarian rock lifting contest when he lifted 770lbs up to 35 inches high from the floor. His other lifts are pretty insane btw, but he considers himself a bodybuilder. (He took 4th at the PDI New York pro what Lee Priest won)

your friend is a monster, props.

if you're going off what he did in Cost Of Redemption then no i don't hink he could, he was struggling his ass off on the last two reps and the last one barely made it up even with help, this guy is a stronger presser than Ronnie, get over it.

Pffffft. We got a guy 'round here that'd make that lift look like chump-change. ;)
/keg? where you at?

he should make a training video

I dont think he is,you get over it.Ive seen Ronnie,on video, knock out 12 reps with 200lb dumbells.Seen him do 500X4-5[cant remember]THEN go to the incline bench and knock out reps with 405.He also does seated military presses with 315X12 and db presses with 160X6.Sorry,I dont think the guy is stronger. Not pressing or any other movement in the gym.

this guy could do all of those lifts and probablt more, like i said he's a better presser than Ronnie but Ronnie probably has him on back and leg movements.

i agree here... coleman did 500lb as part of a workout...
then went and worked up to 405 on inclines...
and he had injury to the left elbow too...

Also, when Ronnie took 500,it was after repping 405X10[i think,it could have been more].Its a lot different trying a max when you warm up for the max by singles and doubles, then by repping weights the whole way AND THEN trying a big weight.

cost of redemption is not his strongest i would imagine. he had a busted shoulder he was greasing and nursing during the video. I would say offseason around unbelivable is his strongest hypothetically.
dude squatted and deaded 805 for a double. The dead at very very low bodyfat.
-
holy shit if this is real this one strong mofo. :o
&feature=related
He's strong Squabby..No doubt..But he ain't no Coleman !!
-
Both are strong pressers, Coleman is probrably stronger over all but you can not really assume with certainty without having both men doing the same workout in the same condition...and whos to say Ronnie never did more than he did in his video. Regardless their workouts where too different to draw conclusions about who is stronger on bench when both are probrably relatively close.
-
I know this is not the topic, its benching BUT you know the movement that Ronnie does that is his most impressive in my opinion? Its when he does t-bar rows with 12 plates.I train with a lot of national champion powerlifters so Ive seen many 800-1000lb squats in gear, and a few 800lb pulls BUT I dont know one guy that can do t-bars with 12 plates for reps. The guy is strong on every single movement you can name.
-

To be fair i know a 20 year old who benches more than that naturally

The thing that's even more insane is that he did the t-bar rows after deadlifting 800lbs for 2 and bent-over barbell rowing 500lbs for 8-10.
-
common guys its' a well known fact that they used fake plates in unbelieavable to boost sells why do you think he never been near those weights since then ::)
-
To be fair i know a 20 year old who benches more than that naturally
Not saying it's a common thing but I also know a few guys around my age who bench around the same weight, give or take some.
-
most people at my gym bench that in the off-season some more some less some big dudes there sorry no video or pic
-

Oh you misinterpretted me, i was using my friend as an example to show how its perfectly feasible that you are as strong as you sau you are.
Good work man

more than what? 585 or 405?

i know a guy that had 19 inch arms natural.... amazing yes, but its also ACCEPTABLE.

Chadwick Mower could do that...
Chadwick Mower is a world record powerlifter in Dubai, India.....
-

More on Zoltan. Some training info: He squats with 680 lbs for 6-8 reps, biceps/curls with 200 for 8 reps and military press with 440 for 1 rep. Once his bench broke while doing the military press; his training partner saved his life by helping him from the back. He had tennis elbow surgery on both his arms around 10 months ago and his strength has gotten stronger and stronger since then. He is very honored that he's being mentioned on the same page as Ronnie and he's gonna make a video of his lifts in the near future. Btw, he's got another talent. When he diets down to his contest weight of 260, he can beat active soccer players on 100m (running). He's just a great overall sportsman.

Not exactly full reps are they.
And on teh last one he got a hand getting it up
I'm more impressed by levrones 3 reps at the same weight - less reps but better form with full rom

maybe Ronnie Coleman doesn't like doing the top half of reps, sculpture.

I agree, he should do lower reps with full ROM.

That much is obvious
Its pointless comparing full clean reps with half reps
