Lift4Size claims 220.
I actually believe he will have alot of guys eating humble pie when he posts his vid
Anyway what do you honestly lift in this exercise?
I tried today and got 110 x 8

i do 'em on the flat bench, 35 pound fixed bar. ;D

work up to a set of 5 with 165 (cambered bar of 25 lbs, and a 45lb and 25lb on each side) natural
220 sounds legit if on....

themost ive ever done is two 45 pound plates each side of a ez bar for a couple reps which is equal to

two 25 lb plates on each side of a cambered bar is all I work up to these days.

barbell rows 315
160lb pound dumbell presses...
deads... with 500 which was my max at the time...
i have done 585 (for the record)
you have seen this vids and skull crushers with 2 plates is impossible...

Ha! I see where you're going. I meant one a side: two total. My mistake. You want something stupid? Couple years ago, I got was using one aside with straight bar for lying extensions. Couldn't figure for the life of me why my elbows felt like they were cancerous. What a maroon. 8)

skull crushers with curl bar 140.. 2 45s and 2 25s
seated behind the head same maybe 20 pounds more. no real reason to go more..

I have used a 160 pound DB in the past for 8-12 reps.
I've never done them heavy with a barbell, murders my wrists.

47 kg's for 3 sets of 6 on the curl-bar
But I get better results just cranking out the reps at lower weight and going for volume. My elbows seem to prefer it as well.

my bad my bad i thought this thread was about skull crushers....
laying flat i just realised now its like incline french press no i dont go that heavy on those
that would really really punish my joints...
but i have used that weight on flat

100 for 8 on the 4th. set after pyramiding up from 70 pounds in 10 pound jumps............probabl y a little more if I just warmed up and went for it.

I don't do them, but I tried them a while back and was able to play pretty easily with 135 lbs. My joints really don't like the exercise much.

db overheads for me, hard on my elbows so I don't them much, most i've done db OH press is 100lb db.

185 for reps reg park style in a power rack.

On getbig 185 for 15 reps without breaking a sweat.
IRL= 100 for 10, but then i cant do them for a few months because my elbows get so sore from the movement :'(

it's a stupid exercise to try with heavy weight due to the scizzoring forces on your tendons . awkward
who cares how heavy you go anyway ?

135x6 with a straight bar, using Lift4Size's form but going down to the base of my skull. it was brutal, but my triceps felt amazing afterwards. tips of my elbows have been acting up lately so i can't do any extensions at all.
