Title: Different days, different calories?
Post by: garebear on October 18, 2008, 03:53:19 AM
On a day that you do not lift weights, do you consume the same amount of calories, or more or less?

I was wondering if I should eat differently.

Right now I run in the morning five days a week. As these are non lifting days, I feel that I should take in less calories, or else I feel that I would just be putting on fat.

Sure.

When you sit around all day, you surely do not need 500g of carbs.

Keep protein intake high, regardless of working out or not, adjust the rest. Just be sure you get some carbs and protein after running.
