Title: 2 year old protein powder, still good?

i have some nitrotech chocolate whey stuff thats been in a ziplock bag for 2 years that i just found, is it still good?

smell what? say you have 20 year old protein powder its probably gonna have no protein i it anymore.
so im wondering if it is deanatured or if it hasnt expired yet and is still good as a protein source

its in a ziplock bag i dont know if that makes a difference. i will assume your right but amyone have a 2nd oppinion? i dont want to waste it if its good

Does denaturing affect the amount of protein? I wouldn't think so.
Does it affect the smell? I would have thought yes.

Could be wrong on both though. As I have said, I'm no expert.

no i dont think the smell would be effected uness its really old it probably loses its smell over time

have you tried musclemilk? its very good.

im not going ti buy any protein with artificial sweetener anymore though, i try to kep healthy not chemicals.

I don't think I can get muscle milk where I live. I also could not find unflavoured whey powder. I would prefer that and flavour it myself e.g. with honey or real chocolate.

There are some decent tasting powders out there. I use Ultimate Nutrition right now. However, they are lightyears away from "delicious".

If it was bad, you could go buy some new protein of the same brand, switch them, and return the old protein and get an additional one free.
