I have no idea why you posted that.

Well Palin thinks the Vice president is in charge of the Senate and thinks they can help make policy changes. Does this bitch know anything about GOVERNMENT? We learned this in 4th grade!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You really are a stupid fuck... the Consitution says the ONLY responsibilities the Vice President has is take over if the President dies and IF there is a 50/50 tie in the senate they cast the deciding vote... they have NO OTHER ROLL.. PERIOD...
The SPEAKER OF THE HOUSE Runs the house of Representatives (Nancy Peloci) and the PRESIDENT PRO TEMPORE AKA "Senate Majority Leader" runs the SENATE (RObery Byrd)
The title "president of the senate" is a TITLE and has Zero weight.
Learn your constitution dummie...

The quote is from the senate website.
She said she was president of the senate which is factually correct.

In 1953, Vice President Richard M. Nixon changed the vice presidency by moving his chief office from the Capitol to the White House, by directing his attention to executive functions, and by attending Senate sessions only at critical times when his vote, or ruling from the chair, might be necessary. Vice presidents since Nixon's time have followed his example.
What that means is that Palin might have been wanting to be actively involved in the Senate again.
It is her constitutional right and it might actually help to have the Vice president on site to ensure that the senate functions properly.

She has absolutely no effect on Senate decisions unless the votes are tied 50/50. How often does that happen? By her comments you'd think she has the ability to veto bills and shit. She's an idiot.

She can and would be able to make rulings from the chair during debates, which could be critical depending on the legislation.
This especially true if any party had super majority.
