Have any of you guys had any good success keeping your gains after coming off?

I keep about 50-75% of my gains after PCT, it's all a matter of genetics and nutrition.
Perhaps your "source" hasn't been pure after all.
Hopefully you haven't been dealing with the Russian counterfeits.
Funny how the Europeans have all kinds of issues with fakes in the black market, but there's no nearly that amout of them here.

if I gain 25lbs I can keep about 15 and then try real hard and get to where I was at end of cycle

dam 75 percent is pretty dam good...i just came off and i pretty much kept bout 50 percent of my gains...i almost feel like im still on..its pretty crazy...my methods for keepin gains are: an aggressive post cycle, cut my sets back so i dont overtrain, and this time around i used a real low dose of clen which i think helped...What are you methods for coming off?

PCT is the important part........but lessening training intensity and volume is as important.
When cortisol and estrogen rise, you have to cut back in other areas in order to avoid anabolic crash.
In some ways, post-cycle is probably the best time to watch your diet.
Clen/ECA/T-3........some even use DNP.

I'm not going to argue with the "google king" over PCT advice.
Go try and strike up conversation on BOS with William Llewellyn, or try to at least.

You don't have that much experience with anabolics or bodybuilding for that matter if you call it a "sport".
If you know what you're doing you can keep a good amount.

Dude, that's complete b.s, if that were true you'd be 300lbs. with abs right now, maybe 5%-10% but let's be realistic, no one keeps more then that after any cycle.

Nobody keeps 100% of whatever they initially gain after PCT, that's homeostatis.......
Over time you'll lose some of that, but you'd have gains and losses over the course of the year whether you're on or off.
The point is, that you can keep most of those immediate gains from a cycle if you taper off, eat clean and adjust your training.

All depends how much each cycle yeilds and what compounds were used.
If you were to gain 10 - 15 pounds on a cycle why couldnt you keep 5-8 pounds of that with proper PCT and "genetics" diet and training know how?

Bro do you even eat? For all the cycles you run you look really small. I'm not bagging on you, but something is off, with either your training or nutrition. I keep lots of gains when I come off. I keep the calories, and the intensity. You need to force the gains to stay.

You can keep that much if everything is in check when you come off.
Now, if you're a "cycle warrior" you'll gain twenty pounds on cycle & then lose twenty pounds when you come off.

Yeah, I'm a little discouraged by this. After doing steroids you've got to use other drugs to get your body back to homeostasis quickly enough to retain some gains. I've always failed during PCT and lost damn near everything. First cycle I lost my SERMs and PCT drugs (they got destroyed when I moved), second cycle I got pneumonia... fucking blows! lol
This is why it's very important to be cognizant regarding the changes that occur. Some people just follow cookie cutter cycles, don't get any blood work or even do friggen research before their cycles! No wonder why they're so disappointed with their results... on the other hand, some lucky bastards juice according to whatever their source recommends and they come out retaining tons of their gains. Sons of bitches!! haha

Also depends on the drugs imo. If you ran a really wet cycle and bloated up, of course you're going to lose tons of size and weight, but you've got to ask how much of that bloat is true gain in the first place (yes I acknowledge the leverage aspect of bloat tho). If you used AIs heavily and dry orals like tbol (or so I've been told) and var, you'd keep a much higher percentage since you never balloned.

You may think in your head that you haven't lost much after coming off, and even if you do proper PCT and up your proteins and jump on creatine and tribulus and all that b.s you will still lose more then 50% of your gains after coming off and being off for a while.

Are we talking LBM or strength gains, or both?
I don't agree with this.
If you are losing that much of what you gained, then you're a hyper-responder to AAS or you don't eat right when you're off.

What you're saying has some truth to it and what the others are saying does to but I don't think anyone is taking in one of the biggest factors.
Once you come off, like Sev said, you will start going back towards your natural self. However, your natural self should not be what it was once before...you've still been lifting and eating right, if you hadn't been on cycle and you ate and lifted right you would have still made gains. Point being, if you do things right, you shouldn't be all the way back to square one once you come off...just like if you were natural you would still make gains.
So a lot of the gains, although the AAS helped out a lot, they still came from two things and it was these two things that played the biggest role...food and weights.

well i think the most important thing to keeping gains are nutrition and post cycle...i also kick my sets back during post cycle soo im not overtraining...

dunno about now, but russian stuff used to be really good back in the day...plus u could buy a lot of shit over the counter

Most of the counterfeits in the market are coming from eastern europe.
Russia and Poland are the main culprits.

Did I say you'd keep everything? No. I did my first cycle when I was about 215lbs. After god knows how many steroids later & having stopped for over a year did I go back to that? No.

More then likely. Let myself get a little lazy & soft this summer after two hand surgeries but all is well.

i think a lot of the guys on here mistake gains for being how much weight you put on...the real gains are strength and lean body mass...
