I think the 2004 quote was a basic generic quote for ideal healthy bodybuilding , etc.
I had a major juicer tell me that drinking diet coke was bad for my health and he would never put that shit in his body LOL. the guy was walking pharmacy.

Yes but don't you know in their mind all BB drugs even if not labelled are SAFE?Just ask them. ::)

Everything in FLEX is ghost written...

why? most veg is not even needed for feeding tissues, at best it aids digestion and maybe keeps the colon healthy

I'd like to hear from him too. He did say in his "War for the Worlds" video (I belive #3), that he's never been into veggies. He did say he may have a small salad at night time. Perhaps he makes up for it with supplements, perhaps some contain the phytonutrients that fruits & veggies provide.
As for the 2004 article, much of what's in them either isn't from the bber's themselves, or if it is, it's hardly followed. I remember seeing an article from Ronnie saying he only likes to use cables for his arm workouts. We know that's not true.

On a similiar note I knew a heroin addict who wouldn't drink pop because it was bad for you.

Post the exact quote, or tell me what issue it's in, and I'll respond.....not sure what you're talking about.

Doubt it's a quote.....it's probably an article from the team that happens to have my picture next to it.

Just because there's a picture of Bob with a quote doesn't mean he said it. Those mags have hundreds of pics just laying around they can use.

Maybe it was then. I was refering to the pics you see in Flex & such with some random quote about protein requirements or something above them.

im also not into veggies...there is not a one-for-all formula...some people cant eat veg due to their evolutionary genetics...vegies give me cramps and bloat, nothing more...there are plenty of other sources of minerals and vitamins like fruit and oats and so on...

Since the time you first posted this and the original post, you could have dug up the original magazine and given Chick a direct quote with factual information about issue number, month and who is on the cover.
That way Chick could respond in full, but instead you are wasting his time.
Many of the articles in FLEX are put together with their staff, being written by Jose Antonio, Chris Aceto, and numerous others. FLEX then takes this information and puts it into their magazine and says it's what so-and-so does to obtain his winning physique.
MuscleMag International does this constantly. You see a picture of Flex Wheeler in the desert, from a photo shoot done in 1996, and the quote with be vague and ambiguous stating "drink lots of water to ensure proper hydration-Flex Wheeler."
Doesn't mean Flex Wheeler wrote or even said it. But because it's in print, a lot of people believe it and will follow blindly.
This is also the reason why many pros will not post a sample cycle too. Because they know SOMEWHERE, some stupid twat is going to try those amounts for whatever reason and could end up injured somehow.
