-I would like to be a pro bb'er. Hormones are very expensive but if i dated a rich american whore i could most likely get by.
-Good point tbombz. fuck a job.
-It's crossed my mind to be a porn star but i'm not packing 9+ inches so it's probably not in the cards for me

Yeah the steroid stuff actually isn't AS big of a deal in canada. You can get pulled over with a bottle of test and they won't care... they just take down dealers not users.

Not sure how it is in Canada but in the states its not like you can just say 'hhmmm, I think i would like to be a cop" and poof, it happens..... Maybe in the south.... I know it is easier there. Most places its like this..
Written test (usually need at least a 70% to pass)
Physical Agility Test (push ups, situps, 300 meter sprint, 1.5 mile run timed)
Oral Board Interview (usually consisting of 2-3 uniformed brass, and a HR person) a bit nerve racking!
Background check (criminal history, financial, etc)
Polygraph test
Psychological written test
Psychological interview
Chiefs interview
and THEN, IF you pass all that you get to go to an academy that lasts anywhere from 4-12 months depending on the agency and your location!!!
Oh and then you have FTO time (field training) that you need to go through for 12 weeks with a supervising officer.
If you pass that you are on probation for a year.
Then congrats! Your an official Police Officer!
This is what I hear anyways.......
;D

Yeah it's pretty much the same in Canada. I already did the first step which is going to the info seminar. Next step is the general knowledge exam(common sense stuff, nothing really to do with policing), then the rest... not sure if I want to do it or not, I just figured i'd see what's up.

Get ready to test your patience with people. Its a great job, just dont forget to leave it outside when you come home.... You should know what your getting into. Will they let you go on any ride alongs? I would definatly recomend it first. Go when its busy so you get a good feel for it. Good luck to you!

Yeah in the US the pay is pretty low for cops. Here in Canada the starting salary for an RCMP officer is $62,000. Then it goes up to $65,000 after your 90 day evaluation. Add yearly raises + lots of overtime and you can make alot of money doing it. Plus the schedules are pretty good... one female officer I know works 4 on 4 off... a couple others do 2 on 1 off etc...
What do you do for a living Quaker?

Yeah the guys here can't take the cruisers home on a normal day unless if they're in a special division or if they have overtime it's ok.

You forgot one thing that some cops and criminals have the same/identical physiological profile...so you don’t have to be perfect to end up a cop. Some cops fall in the boat with politicians. You can tell so many lies that they become the true to you.

This usually happens AFTER you are hired...........
