In Florida, Democratic lawyer Charles H. Lichtman has assembled almost 5,000 lawyers to monitor precincts, assist voters turned away at the polls and litigate any disputes that can't be resolved out of court.
``On Election Day, I will be managing the largest law firm in the country, albeit for one day,'' said Lichtman, 53, a Fort Lauderdale corporate lawyer and veteran of the five-week recount after the 2000 election when Florida eventually delivered the presidency to George W. Bush.
Obama's lawyers also have pressed allegations that Michigan Republicans planned to use mortgage-foreclosure lists to challenge voters. Indiana labor unions allied with Democratic presidential nominee Obama, an Illinois senator, are battling a Republican chairman over early voting in the state's second- largest county....

wrong buddy, these polls will be more watched than any other time in history. Sorry if that upsets you.

Im not upset, I don't care at all as a matter of fact. It just seemed like you were getting a little too excited and that's just not like you. :P

i never thought about that - will obama supporters really be filming to keep em honest?
-
keep em honest?
CNN, Anderson Cooper flashback.

What could possibly go wrong when 5000 lawyers get involved with politics?

yes... bigtime... Not all voting locations of course but I guarantee the hot spots have been identified and will be watched like no other election ever and he's got the money to back it if needed.

5 000 lawyers?
I'd love to see their marathon daily morning briefs:
'Ok guys, we're a little short on seats as usual for this meeting. Hope everyone is cool with that. So where are we today in our current cases?'
-
How about in Chicago or St Louis where they'll keep the polls open longer in black neighborhoods like in 2000. The dems have a longgggggggggg history of screwing with elections. U guys have a real poor grasp of history.

In 2000 and 2004, it was the republicans who won the elections because they were able to maniupluate and control situations in OH and FL.
If there had been an actual paper backup count in 2004 in Ohio, it's almost a statistical certainty that you'd be saluting President kerry right now, HH6. These ballots remained sealed due to Repub lawsuits - never counted - we only took the word of a Diebold CEO who earlier said in a company memo that "we will deliver this win to President Bush".
That sits very sour with many recent voters. Of course, JFK cheated his way into office, and both Dem and Repubs cheat. But Bush - who suddenly is making a lot of noise about OH voter fraud - did everything he could to stop voting accountability in OH and FL the last 2 elections.

240...ur CT crap about diebold is ridiculous. This Bush stole the election stuff with secret memo's and bullshit sealed ballots is all hysterics. We have Acorn signing up mickey mouse we have polls staying open until well past the deadline. We have Dems shipping in homeless to vote or actually asisting people in the ballot box. This is fraud, not secret compuer hacking and memo's.

Bush stole the election

The election and voting process should be monitored. I find no problem with that (unless the lawyer try to stir up insignificant things as they often do).
By the way....we have far too many lawyers in gov. Biden/Obama ticket = 2 more lawyers (actually 3 including Michelle).
