    Inside the Numbers: The tentative Silva got off just 52 total strikes through two rounds, landing 27, nine of which were leg strikes. Cote was busier in rounds one and two with 65 strikes attempted, but he landed just 13 before an injured knee forced the fight to be halted :39 into round three.

    Inside the Numbers: Alves won round one with a mixed attack. Of his 28 total strikes landed, 13 were arm strikes, 12 were leg strikes (11 kicks) and he added three ground strikes. Koscheck actually landed more arm strikes in round one (14 to 13 for Alves), but Alves leg strikes landed were the difference in the round.. Alves again was slightly busier and landed more stikes in round two, with the difference again Alves leg strikes landed. Alves poured it on in round three, landing 45 of 101 total strikes, including 26 of 75 arm strikes. Alves continued his balanced attack in round three, landing 17 leg strikes, including a knee that dropped Koscheck.

    Inside the Numbers: Statistically the Fight of the Night. They combined to throw 639 total strikes- 566 of which were arm strikes. Sherk & Griffin got busier in each round, throwing 71 & 98 total strikes respectfully in round one, 102 & 112 in round two and 134 and 122 in round three. Sherk closed the show by landing 47 of 120 arm strikes in round three.
