but from what I can see, most of that happened in states McCain already is solid on.
-
I don't think it's just the negative attacks that has brought down his numbers.
I think before the infomercial is aired, there is a certain drop.
Buying so much prime time air time is a little controversial. And getting on several networks at the same time is a bald move.
We'll see if he can deliver tonight.
Obama didn't deliver much substance in the final debate - but came across as very presidential.
A little Reaganish.

I'm an obama voter - as my pic shows! - but I think anyone will admit toinght's ad buy was pretty interesting, pretty emotional.

Can't go by the outside polls. There's reason why he's still hot and heavy in the battleground states he thought he had wrapped up. Some inside polls have McCain ahead within the margin of error where Obama should be winning and a point or two ahead (McCain) outside the margin of error in some states.
Before anyone gets high and mighty about an Obama victory.....truth is, it's way too close to call for ANYONE to be making such over zealous predictions of an Obama win.

I think the infomercial is a bad idea. Those who don't give a shit won't watch, Those who are solidly decided won't watch in any large numbers and if he gets half of the 8 percent undecided that will be an awesome success if it's a good sell. but they'll take the overall ratings of the event and say it was a total flop which will look bad.

The ones you see in the news, net or any place where it's public.

I'll ask you the same question I asked Jag. How does feel to get taxed up the ass for everything you work for?

Nahhh its not close, and the right wingers say its close to not admit defeat, and the left wing tells people to say its close to not look like they are celebrating too soon. Its not close, and it will be one of the biggest landslides in US History...

what polls are you going by then, I'm going by an average of all major polls...

yea, I agree, that wasn't my point and as I said in the post, if he gets undecided, not independent, undecided voters to watch and he sells a portion of them, it's a success. I'm just pointing out that could be a low number that tunes in and they'll try to spin the low numbers as a failure which could hurt more than it helped. I hope I'm wrong. I just think he was doing awesome with what he was doing so I'm a little worried about an unknown like this. To many things could go wrong. Hope I'm wrong.

My sister is 20. She's not into politics like me. She's registered to vote, but never wants to talk about it.
I asked if she watched it - she said yeah. I was surprised. She said it was really interesting because of all the real stories of people. While that part was boring, predictable, and pandering to me - she really liked it.

None. When you see one poll that has a 12-14point lead and others that have 2, 3, 4 or even 6 point leads, which ones are on the average. Immediately throw out the one that doesn't make sense or obviously bias.
And honestly I don't trust or believe any of them.

well then why were you posting Fox polls? I think an average of all polls is probably closer than any one poll.

LMAO... throw out the ones that are bias, but listen to the ones that have him at a a dead heat that are done by right wing pollsters... because those make sense? Coach are you really as dumb as you look? Or is it a joke?
