Title: 59% opf Americans: Palin not ready to be VICE President
Post by: 240 is Back on October 31, 2008, 06:51:15 AM
Only 35% of Americans believe palin is ready to be VP.

If he loses, the Palin pick is going to be his biggest mistake of all.

She is an national joke and was a horribly irresponsible pick by McCain that he will regret for the rest of his life.

Hate to correct you, but she's more then a national joke actually ;)

I am sure McCain regrets it immensely, and I would not put it past her to be a real PIA behind the scenes to him as well.

What are they saying about her in your country?  I know the world loves Obama, but I hadn't heard much about how they feel about palin/mccain.

GOP insiders from the campaign say she refuses to listen to anyone but her husband.

Campaign insiders report that on the Straight Talk Express, McCain will completely snub her to the embarrassment of those sitting nearby.

On the flip side, she's more ready than Obama or Biden and more qualified than Obama.

I guess you'll still be mumbling that to yourself when Obama is sitting in the Oval Office.  :D

Mine, it's taken with good humour as we only have like 10,000 adults to choose from, so our leaders we take what we get lol. People think its great to see the US with someone like what we have on the ticket, they think it's funny, they are used to the Americans fielding very credible and impressive people, so this is unusual to see and amuses us.

World though, if you check the foreign press of actual "real" nations not like here - she is not lauded to put it mildly. Neither is Biden, but he's not smashed.

No.....I'll just be sitting gloating on how stupid and gullible Obama voters are, especially since the media would have won it for him. Saying that, he sure as hell wouldn't have won it on his issues.

It's utterly amazing that even 1% believe she is ready!

I wonder why Dubya appointed Engelberger to be secretary of state, and not you.

IMO, Biden is the most qualified out of all of them.  He's a big mouth with a big ego, but his congressional record destroys mccains even.  And on the issues, in interviews, he is far more intelliegent than any of the other 3.  he can talk about any issue at length.  Mccain becomes confused with details.  Obama is vague.  Palin speaks in vast generalities and catch phrases.  biden is the only complete one in the group, I believe.

I agree actually.

Why would you be "gloating" if your candidate lost? Won't you feel disheartened by the terrible direction American will be heading in under an Obama administration?

Did the media win the elections for George W. Bush?
