Title: CLICK on the link provided to DEMAND LA Times to release the Obama/Khalidi video
Post by: RagingBull on November 02, 2008, 01:32:05 PM
With less than two days before Election Day, the L.A. Times has
decided to withhold a potentially explosive video featuring
presidential candidate Barack Obama and Rashid Khalidi, a
pro-terrorist radical and one-time spokesman for the late
PLO head Yasser Arafat, rather than allow the public to view
the video and make up their own minds.

According to the L.A. Times report, the video shows Obama
reminiscing about meals prepared by Khalidi's wife, and
"conversations that had challenged his thinking, " but
released no other details of the video.

If the L.A. Times professes to be in the news business, it
should reveal all the news, not suppress it.

Given Obama's longtime, personal relationship
with Rev. Jeremiah Wright, whose anti-Israel rhetoric has been
oft repeated, it's essential Americans have an opportunity to
view the truths found on that videotape--before the election!

On the heals of an amazingly successful grassroots initiative
directed at CNN just days ago, I'm urging Americans to take fast action by contacting the L.A. Times
and demanding they immediately release this video.

Go here to access the L.A. Times article, and send your
personalized email to key L.A. Times staff:

http://www.mrcaction.org/r.asp?U=12866&CID=506&RID=11417499

At this late hour, we cannot allow the liberal
media to withhold key information from the American public.

We simply must take to task whenever we see liberal media bias--
and this is certainly a prime example.

Please take immediate action by contacting the L.A. Times today,
demanding release of that potentially explosive video by clicking here:

http://www.mrcaction.org/r.asp?U=12867&CID=506&RID=11417499

After sending your emails, and making your phone calls,
forward this message to 20-30 friends urging them to follow
        your lead by clicking here:

http://www.mrcaction.org/r.asp?U=12868&CID=506&RID=11417499

Again, there is far too much at stake to allow the liberal media
elite to dictate what stories we are fed each day. The media have
a responsibility to report the truth, and we must hold them accountable
whenever necessary.

Just curious: have you ever, in a business or personal dealing, become falsely agreeable or sympathetic to someone to further the ability to communicate with someone?  thats all this tape contains, and dumbasses like you, who want to vote for mcrage, only have these little straws to grasp at.  Shouldn't you be opposing gay marriage somewhere?

Mccain gave $480,000 to Khalidi.

Obama gave him $70,000.

So while a video would make good airplay as a november surprise, we already know both candidates got their paws sticky with this scumbag.  Mccain didn't 'toast' to him, but he did give him 7 times as much money...

yeah, i hear different things about the guy.  If he's a bad guy, he's a bad guy.  Fine.  But for mccain and palin to diss obama for toasting him and paying him 70 grand in grants --- then records show Mccain himself approved almost 500k in money to him... I'm doubting Palin was as vocal in her criticism of john ;)

During the 1990's, while McCain served as chairman of the International Republican Institute, the group distributed several grants to the Palestinian research center co-founded by Khalidi, including a $448,873 grant in 1998 to his Center for Palestine Research and Studies for work in the West Bank.

"And, since 1993, when McCain joined IRI as chairman, the group funded several studies run by Khalidi's group in the Palestinian territories, including more than 30 public opinion polls. Khalidi helped found the center, "an independent academic research and policy analysis institution." [..]"

Alright and under what circumstances did Obama contribute to the man?

Alright and under what circumstances did Obama contribute to the man?

He and domestic shitpile Ayers were on a committee that steered some grant for 70k to the same dude.

So like I said, they both have shit on their hands in this deal, which nullifies Mccain's ability to throw stones from his 12 glass houses.

You can, if you wish, talk about how Obama's was worse... but in reality, mccain gvae the dude 7 times as much cash, knowing EXACTLY what this dude was about.

Interesting but I also think we need to hear what went on at this fundraiser.

Mark my words: after the election, the LA Times will release the video and offer up some lame ex post facto rationalization for why it’s suddenly OK to be seen.

Khalidi is a well respected American Born Scholar worldwide.  Nobody should label him as anything negative.
