Good point , and Yates touched on the topic of guys not being as hard now a days compared to when he competed

A person cannot accuratley compare an image they saw in 1998 to what they see on stage in 2008
So they take a look at the pictures, and the 90's pic all have a grainy look to them
Plus, alot of people want to believe that it was somehow better back in the day.

I think its clear in the nineties conditioning and mass reached its zenith
BBers were drier and harder in the 90's tho i hazard a guess that bf levels are more or less the same and it is the variation in drug programs used that explains the difference in appearance

who cares it was more dangerous drugs to suck out last bit of water. i personally think bodybuilders look better with less disgusting veins poping out all over their forehead and chest.
