Post by: musclecenter on November 10, 2008, 04:56:18 AM
Stallone reveals talks are already underway for number five.
He tells TMZ.com, "Rambo hopefully will be back. We've just got to give you guys a story that's worthwhile."

Do you guys think Stallone will finally show his muscle in RAMBO 5 ?

TMZ leaked the Rambo Five script last month.

Stallone pretends to kill someone and is sentenced to life in prison in a las Vegas prison.  His mission is to gain the trust of an inmate accused of killing his personal assistant.  Along the way, Rambo discovers this lunkhead was just taking the blame for a manipulative wife in the fitness industry, and has to break the innocent, lovable lunk out of prison.  Clive Owen will be playing Craig Titus, and they're talking to Jessica Alba about playing Kelly Ryan.

He should have stopped at Rambo 3, the 4th one was just fucking pointless, a knockoff of part 2 with more killing , horrible plot/storyline.

I have yet to come across a true fan of the franchise that didn't love the newest installment.  It is the most testosterone fueled movie to come along in years.

i thought the plot was he goes back to his / his dad's farm in arizona and some rich real estate land developer wants to tear his farm down.  hell ensues, rambo goes apeshit, all the while not realizing he can just appeal with the zoning board.

John will befriend other young Rambos and fight terrorist group in the USA    Old Rambo gets captured and is attached to the bomb  The younguns fail to get to him by one millisecond  and end of Rambo sagas.
However the sequel features young handsome underground fighters

Howabout john rambo in the 5th movie becomes a drifter and sleeps on the beach in venice and is discovered by an old man who sees a great potential in him as a bodybuilder?

I thought it was the worst of the four by a landslide. One and Two were the best, Three tailed off, four was bad, imo.

They modified the Rambo 2 storyline and probably wrote the script in 3 days....garbage, no plot, nothing new, creative or original.

Say what you want, but the only reason 4 was cool was cause of the gruesome violence. That's it.

By in large moviegoers have been very positive in response to the fourth film, as the true action hero has seemingly gone by the way side in recent years, especially with the advent of modern CGI.  Yes, the new Rambo is extremely graphic, but I believe Stallone has done a very good job in the choreography of the action scenes and Brian Tyler meshed a great music score to the sequences to generate the proper emotional impact.  The closing scenes when the village is hit is perhaps the best example of this.  Rambo himself, I believe, has more presence in this film than others, as evidenced by his volatile disposition and more rugged appearance.  Although the film is in part trying to shed light on a very real and dire situation in Burma, it was not done with the intent of being a nominee for best picture.  It's an action movie and he gives us what we want in spades. In doing so, Stallone has shown the current crop of so called action stars as being the pretenders that they are.
