Great usage of tax payers money, I'm sure the people that lived there also appreciated the closed roads and large convoy of gigantic trucks ::) ::)

Security for the president IS great usage of tax payer money. I didn't like Bush and I hated the inconvenience it caused the few times he came to New York, but even I understood that the leader of the free world was entitled to security.

Being silly now, the youngest is 7 of course she needs to be escorted to school. Either way whoever takes her will have security. I see no reason he should be a pissy dad just as he is prez, crappy parents are what creates many of our problems.
Not everyone wants to be like "other" pols and pull their kids out of school for months and raise high school dropouts, some value education. Those kids never missed one day of school, most they missed was a couple of hours on election day. The obvious focus on their eduction is good imo. In the end the eyes are on him, so I think a good parenting example is solid, same as many other presidents have done.
