1985: 22 years old and placed 3rd at Mr. Olympia..
1994: 31 years old and placed 17th at N.O.C.
Does anyone know what happened to Gaspari to took him from this to that??..

For a start the 90s was the most competitive time in the history of BB..
Plus Gaspari basicly burned out , endless years of drug abuse and dieting down to silly low bf % takes its toll.

Thx for explanations guys.. It's strange some champs don't respect their careers and keep competing with poor shapes.. Lee Labrada was smarter, when he placed 5th at AC 1995 he retired immediately..

Rich seems like the kind of guy that knows what he's doing. He lived his dream for a while, and got out in time, moved on to bigger things. Apparently also did well in the gym biz back in the day.
Gaspari, Labrada, Ray, Haney. Intelligent, driven and sucessful bbers. Real role models.

Gaspari was billed as a hard-gainer, I disagree, he had great bbing genes, blocky structure, but good response to training, etc. Plus driven.

He's in an enviable position these days. Few guys maintain financially after their career is over. Rich is probably doing better today than he ever did competing (financially speaking).

halodrol is a combo of trwo names = halotestin and anadrol. both oral aas. the original halodrol contained a pre cursor to turinabol (sort of like "dbol lite' [doesnt aromatize]). but the latest version of halodrol doesnt really do anything

I think Rich was in phenomenal condition when he came back.
Unfortunately for him, bodybuilding at that time had totally changed regarding the types of physiques on stage.
His body could not compete against the new guys, regardless of what condition he came in. The other guys were just too big.

I totally agree about his condition after the come back.. Specially his legs were really phenomenal.. But still he looked somehow exhausted, probably coz of this pec. injury.. Still I believe he should have placed better.. Judges always put in mind the old shape of any top pro who makes a come back and this is unfair.. They should compare bodies and not faces..

Rich looked Fantastic @ both the 1985 and 1988 Mr O, thing is with Rich as others have mentioned is that he had achieved alot very young, and the condition he quickly became known for (outstanding condition/dencity/dryness) was something he would always be judged against, (alot like Dorian who became known for his incredible condition every time he'd step out on stage) and as one gets older injury's seem to usually throw a nasty spanner into yr preparation's...That said i believe Rich achevied the most out of the Genetics he had, and built a very impressive Physique witch gained him 3 Mr O runner up spots in the 1980s and the very first A/C title in 1989.

guys at my gym would eat 5 to 10 pills a day of those old syntex 50 anadrol tabs...Its was fun watching people blow up and increase there bench press by 100 pounds for 8 weeks only to see it all go away 4 weeks later...

that was the problem test cyp/anadrol was a go to cycle but was a quick gain /loss staggering.androxan was another pill 40 mgs a pop gave u tremors but strong strength gain.5 abombs a day is nuts,

The only reason Labrada dropped out of competition because he was smart enough to realize it wasn't worth it and he could make a killing selling the squeaky clean faux image of bodybuilding i.e. worthless overpriced powders and pills. You guys act like these fucking guys invented the circus we call bodybuilding supplements. Hoffman, Johnson, etc. were doing it 50 years ago. If you took away all the bullshit and hype from bodybuilding nobody would be making any money from it because there is nothing to it. Hardwork, drugs, and proper nutrition i.e. food is all you need.

I hope you are natural in that pic..you look good for an average trainer but extreme ectomorph.very narrow.
You need more traps but I think that will only make you look narrower as your stucture is not the best.
Decent shoulders , not bad arms though could use more fullness

You have a narrow structure , in that pic if you add more traps in will become even narrower..do this for a second.look at the pic and remove your traps , what happens ? your shoulders become wider.

I can not disagree with your post however the same thing can be said for 95% of all products that have ever been made in just about every single industry...From Cereal makers, to ice cream to the razors you use to shave your face...95% of everything in the grocery store is not needed...
Gaspari found a niche and is riding it as far as he can...To think that his silly products can turn a profit this day and age when just about everyone is talking to each other on the internet has to say something about his ability to sell a product...Even though is product is snake oil :-\ The way I see it, is that there are no more victims...There is just too much information at our finger tips to get fooled...I would guess that most people buying Gaspari's products are one of two things...Either lazy or delusional...
