Post by: tcctc on November 16, 2008, 08:21:47 AM
I hear alot of people talk about freezing gear (test) to see if lt`s real or fake?
How do I go about doing this, and what am I looking for after i have done it??
I am new to this so I hope it`s not a stupid question.

many oil based drugs will seperate out if they are chilled too cold (not necessarily frozen, but chilled to <37 F or so, oil should require a lower freezing temperature than water).  The problem is getting them to resuspend into once they warm back up.

I would be willing to waist a amp. if it would tell me if my gear is legit or not?
I have gear that I guestion. don`t know how to post pics. so if freezing it would tell something, it would be a well waisted amp.

Why not buy off a trusted source instead of injecting mystery oils into your body? It seems that would be the more more logical route to employ... but that's just me.

That's the theory.

You'd only do that for amps.......

Then again if you don't know what legit HG looks like and you don't know your source, you're kind of screwed anyway.   :-\

you can re heat it and shake it and if it was made properly it will go back into its original form. like 230 degrees farenheit in a convestion oven for 30 minutes. then pull it out and shake it real hard and then voila.
