Hello.
When i increase protein i get constipated. I increase water as well and take psyllium husk?
Is something wrong or should i just take more psyllium husk?

I take approximately 2 spoonfuls of psyllium husk per day and now 3.

well maybe you need more vgetable fiber. psyllium is a different kind of fiber. one is soluble one is insoluble. you might just need to get more of the other kind(veggie).

Thank you tbomb I don't eat many vegetables because i fidn then yucky but I will try and force more down.

Other then upping your protein how has your diet changed? There could really be a lot of variables here.

you find them yucky? LOL...
psyllium can cause constipation if proper hydration is not followed.

Try adding some kidney beans to your chicken & rice...

Thank you for the advice. I think my problem may have been no veggies...I will try adding them in my diet first even though tey are yucky.
I will let you know how ti goes.

Jerry Seinfeld's wife has a book out on how to disguise food and make it yummy for kids. Maybe that's something to look into.
Also, don't forget fruit. Lots of high fiber ones - strawberries, kiwi, apple...

Hahahahahahahaha that is a funny idea but a good one actually I like jerry seinfeld.
I upped my vegetables --yucky!-- and have been pooping a bit more. Thank you again.
