for me, the best exercise for the forearm is cross body hammer curls

Get a bucket and fill it with sand. Dig to the bottom using only your fists...

When you are done, do chins until you puke. Your forearms may grow if you follow this routine for a bit.

deadlifts without straps and standard grip, no over/under, will really work your forearms and grip strength

also, lots of kettlebell work is great for grip strength, try doing hammer curls with a kettlebell

I knew the day would come at last, I agree with Bluto. Wrist Roller by all means for muscle size and fairly quickly. Can even make one yourself with an old broom handle, dowel or whatever. Just add light rope and a BB plate. Can also get a thicker handled roller to improve the grip even more.

Dl's are great for grip but maybe not so much for muscle size for a lot of people. Might also consider reverse grip BB curls.

Wonder if BBC measure the forearm goose neck style or straight out at the sides? The more developed the forearms are the less difference in a measurement between the gooseneck and straight size. Good Luck.

I've always used various forms of wrist curls, barbell, dumbell, standing, seated, etc. and got a ridiculous pump from supersetting with reverse curls.  I've recently started using the Heavy Grips, so I'm hoping for some good gains from them.

I've gained some size in my forearm extensors recently from wrist extensions on a preacher bench, EZ reverse curls on preacher bench, Standing EZ reverse curls too.  Maybe add one of them to the end of each workout.

some good advice on here. hammer curls are excellent, and heavy back work with no wraps will build better forearms than any direct exercise. then again, what do i know???
