Vinny!
-
No contest!
-
Vinny owns Peter to the end of days.
But then again, 90% of local state show winners own Putnam as well, so thats not saying much :(
-
Vinny has a great "old-skool" physique,he should have turned pro 10 years ago!!.........
-
vinnie owns that little tit easely.
-
any word on what Putnam looked like on saturday? did he fix his tan or dry up even?
-
nj's own vinny....
-
how short is putnam? he's got the proportions of a midget with the stubby legs and short arms
something just doesn't look right about that guy
-
Vinny owns Putnam everyday of the week
-
Vinny for the win!
-
Putnam is the next mark dugdale IMO

-

-
in the second pic it looks like putnam has implants in his lower pecs
-
thats a product of the hard ass trainin we do in jersey,i always thought vinny should have been a pro years ago

vinny has a very photogenic build, his muscles just seem to jump out at you when he flexes.some guys get onstage and hit poses and there aint no dramatic difference, ive always been impressed by the guys or girls that when they pose its almost like someone inflated their muscles with air in a split second, imo francos muscles looked almost the same size and same density when he stood relaxed compered to when he hit some poses,im not knockin him cause he was awesome,im just givin an example.arnold on the other hand had the opposite effect when he posed,it was unreal on how much his biceps for instance exploded in volume.imo alot of it is by the way you train, seems like the guys who did more reps and sets had that explosive muscle,i guess genetics had a say in that to some extent also
-
In person, Vinny is not that thick front to back, but he looks great on a stage.
I dunno... he looks thick front to back, in the side chest here
-
great athlete and spokesman for the sport.
-
madonna mia,,,never seen those gym shots before,he has a killer fr double bi .has great lat insertion to waist forever,at this point why screw with mother nature and destroy his build for sake of size, will keep his niche which is shape, and hardness, props guys a champ and cool, answers emails too boot.as for putnam guys is thick and compact and vinny is not too tall either but his build opens up more and dosent look bunched up ,carries it well, legs are seperated very well ,there big enough ,he's known for overall look not just one body part ,that side chest ,vinnys hams are insane and dried out,he nailed his conditioning too the tee.he's been fuller but he's competing so long u almost think you know him personally cause he's been competing 20 yrs unreal.
-
great athlete and spokesman for the sport.

Think about all of the shows Vinny competed in and should have won his division or was beaten out by excellent physiques....
...and here's Peter "pump" Putnam getting his pro card via gift; beating less than stellar competition with horrible conditioning.
-
VINNY owns PUTNAM.
PUTNUM is thick, but that's really about it.
VINNY has symmetry, conditioining, and shape!
Also guys, as Relentless said, Vinny stuck it out all those years getting 2nd - 15th at Nationals and USAs and never winning his pro card. Putnam just showed up and it was given to him.
If Putnam had to go all those years competing the way Vinny did, he would have most likely quit. He probably would not have stuck it out as long as Vinny did to go pro.
Vinny Galanti is a living legend is my opinion! And he will always be one of my favorite bodybuilders of all time!
I found this on muscle memory, but I'm not sure if it is complete.

Guys, thanks for all the props and positive feed back on my longevity.
sometimes your in front of the eightball, and sometimes your behind.
yes i have had a long road to my pro card, but those are the cards that were handed to me....it's a 50/50 crap shoot with everything and everyone in life.
i think peter putnam does not deserve the negative feed back that is being thrown at him.
ease up on the guy.

BUMP FOR VINNY...
-
Vinny has shown monster class with that last post, and deserves respect. He certainly earned mine.
Even with my earilier comments, when looking at Vinny's career, it becomes obvious that he was at or near the top for many years. Should have won his class at Nationals years ago, all things considered.

his usa win alone cemented his status as one of the best middleweight builds seen on the national stage ,was completely skinned and dry.posed unreal .should have did nationals that yr would have been favorite but he moved on and then moved up few yrs as light heavy and had 3 good placings in row top 3 lightheavy's in late 90's and early 2000.
-
You've always been a class act, Vinnie. Mad props to you. Sincerely.
