Title: World Financial Crisis will be over in 18 months

At least, that's the prediction of the APEC summit that just wrapped up in Peru.
Does anyone seriously believe that?  ???

I'm thinking anything that's worse than the Great Depression... not to mention Global in nature is going to take alot longer than 18 months to overcome.

18 months sounds reasonable to me.  Another 6 months of decline, Obama/Hilary kissing the world's ass to keep the Dollar relevant, and things get back to normal with us haveing 80% of our pre-2001 power, before we allowed that self-inflicted wound in order to justify an 8-year stall on this inevitable financial re-assessment by the world.
