Title: Boxer strength

A amateur heavyweight boxer was at the gym today - hes prb about 220lbs, anyway he asked for a spot on DB shoulder press, he did the 50KG/110Lb DBs for 13 full reps on his own and then i assisted him on 3 more.
DAM! The guys a bit of a KO artist i can see why!!!

I would think it has more to do w/ natural God given strength than any boxing training.

Agree Boxers do little weight training so it down to genes plenty are not so strong

He weighs 220 lbs. It's not all that impressive really. Good but not special.

I disagree. But IMO should be hardly if any work to the prime movers.
